Living in Alberta is very hard and taxing these days but I know there are 9 other provinces I can head to … though I have to admit I cannot head back to Quebec because I refuse to live and pay my taxes to a separatist province.
“Your lips to God’s ears”!! Living through the past two Quebec referendums has made me cynical regarding any thought that the issue will ever die. Living in AB and hearing so many non-separatists declare ‘just let them have their vote and move on…’ has made me realize the separatist’s are so entrenched in their grievances, the matter will never be put to rest. The thought of having to leave my birthplace creates such feelings of anger and frustration. It is difficult to maintain ties with those who would tear Canada asunder and the damage to families & communities might never be reconciled. This goes beyond political grievance to the very heart of what should really matter to us all.
Indeed!! I’m supporting both NDP (urban) but really trying to sell AB Tory Party for rural voters. They should value ethics & integrity which the UCP lacks in spades. We really do need to begin protesting outside MLA & Premier’s offices and seek
And setting Canada up for an annual review just makes it all the more beneficial for us, yes? Because next year at this time, we’ll have even more leverage. And the year after. And the year after.

Correct. PM Carney is no dummy he knows what he's doing. And hopefully in 3 years, the US will have better leadership, friendlier to Canada.
