One huge card that Canada holds is water. I lived many years in British Columbia and much of America's north west depends on the Columbia River. Canada owns and controls the water that provides electricity to millions of Americans and also water which under pins the agriculture of the American north west. BC controls the dams and water flows which are governed by the Columbia River Water Treaty which Trump in his stupidity refused to renew. If Canada restricts or reduces the water flow the pain will be felt instantly in the USA. Hopefully it never comes to that.

This is exactly why I no longer watch Canadian media. They have taken up sensationalism instead of reporting the news. They have become Americanized and because of this I think we need to boycott all of it. They give the opposition much more air time than they ever have in the past when nearly 80% of Canadians support Carney's actions. They want to draw in the Conservative base and feed their grievances with clicks. If I wanted to watch American news I can, I want old fashioned unspun journalism back and they can start with firing Rosemary Barton. That bitch couldn't be more unprofessional if she tried and she broadcasts her politics every time she opens her fat ugly mouth! She is largely responsible for destroying a credibility the CBC ever had and it wasn't much.
