I said it when this first dropped and I say it again now: Okay, according to the US we need to stop importing stuff from countries with forced labour. Let's do exactly what they want. Let's stop importing anything that is touched in any way by the US prison system.

Bingo! The 13th amendment is seen as having abolished slavery, but the loophole allows unpaid labour to be extracted from the incarcerated.

What's the parable about the log in your eye?... what about the Americans working multiple jobs and living in urban slums, denied medical coverage? Yes, to Canada not importing items from forced labour. We need to concentrate on home grown Canadian products from food to whatever we can do including not buying from internet companies offering shoddy goods made overseas.
